And, back to the Freespire bashing that certain individual indulged in...

They are fully within their rights to purchase the rights to certain
code and then re-sell it on top of a free software framework. They are
no less participants in the open source 'ecosystem' (opensystem?) than
is the Ubuntu project! And, they are providing a valuable service --
they are providing people with software (and software itself should be
considered a service) that is unavailable to them under the open
source model!!!

They are doing EXACTLY what the vision for open source is -- they are
using open source as they see fit, and are doing so by respecting
licences and intellectual property rights (which is more than can be
said for some individual "fans" :-(.
