Certain applications need to display HTML, which they do by embedding 
mozilla rather than duplicating effort making their own HTTP user agent 
and HTML renderer. The epiphany and galeon web browsers both do this for 
obvious reasons. Yelp uses it for displaying HTML help pages. There were 
some not very concrete plans to get evolution to use gecko for HTML 
email at some point too I believe.
