Oh thanks, I missed that link on the wiki page... shame on me ;-)
It works now... but the sound is soooo crap that it's painful to listen to, and near impossible to understand :-(
As i am on broadband, and speech requiring so little bandwidth, i was expecting top quality sound... :o(

i am using ekiga (tried twinkle but keeps crashing on Edgy for me), maybe it's misconfigured or something... the audio properties list 9 audio codecs, several of them are ticked, so i don't know which one is actually being used, nor how to force the use of a better coded, in the hope it would improve the quality of sound. There are also arrow to move codec up and down the list, but don't know what it does exactly and how to make proper use of it...
Or does Ubuntu force ekiga to use a given codec, so if the sound is crap, can't do anything about it ?? :-/
