I think it's good to keep the support list strictly to help/support
requests.  Any kind of debate on the direction of Ubuntu, news items,
advocacy or just really anything non-technical is better discussed on
Sounder.

Of course there's a smaller (but infinitely more clued in :) audience on
Sounder, so ironically for those who feel like venting or sounding off
on something, they know they have a bigger audience on the main users
list. :)

Fortunately it isn't policed much, far less than other lists/forums.

Overall I think the community is doing very well.  Police too much and
you tend to lose vibrancy.
