If the box is unchecked, the confirmation-window pops up. The contents
depend on the fact if DMA-support was detected by the OS. If it was, there
doesn't even have to be a confirmation. If it wasn't, the text could be
something like this:

"The operating system [or just Ubuntu] did not detect DMA-support for this
device. Although using DMA generally speeds up the device, enabling it on
unsupported hardware will probably make the device unreliable or even
unusable. If this is the case, disable DMA again as soon as possible.

Are you sure you want to enable DMA for this device?"
