I've been using rockbox on my ipod the past couple months. The plugins
are pretty cool (many games, DOOM, calculator), and it plays almost any
audio format. But there is no stable release currently that supports
the iPod. You need to use a daily build, which, sometimes is stable and
sometimes is not. It also uses more battery than the apple firmware.
I've also had it freeze on me a couple times. And, it is not as pretty
as apple firmware.
A pretty cool project, but still needs to mature a bit :)
God bless,
Lukas
