I have dist-upgraded from Debian Woody to Hoary with very few problems. I
have dist-upgraded from Warty to breezy with only a few hassles (the need to
hit enter again and again during the configuration of every single xorg
package, for example.)
There used to be a wikipage detailing the pitfalls, but I can't seem to find
it at the moment.
