OK, some more details:
* wxpython 2.6.3 is supposed to be released RSN - but introduces api
changes so an UVF exception would be tough.
* The drawing library is not yet open source, but free-as-in-beer.
Binaries are available for x86, x86_64 and ppc.
So although it would be cool to have it in Dapper, there are some nasty
issues.
On the bright side: it compiles flawlessly on my dapper system and works
like a charm.
