Yeahhh... my last machine was Pentium 200MMX with 32MB of RAM, and it
was super fast with windows 95. I upgraded it only because of raw
processing power issues (playing an MP3 song with winamp would use 25%
CPU, and calculating image thumbnails in lare directories was getting
quite long...), but for simple tasks like basic office work,
programming, web surfing, P2P, it was very fine.

I remember when my old man bought a brand new (long ago ;-), Pentium
120MHz with 16MB of RAM. Once, just for fun, I installed Windwows 3.1 on
it instead of 95. I typed "win" at the DOS prompt, even before my finger
had finished pushing the the "enter" key of the keyboard, Windows was
loaded !! Wow... I dream that one day Gnome and it's apps will manage
the same...
