Indeed.

However, perhaps it's too much in one go for some places?  In Malawi,
schools can't even afford to buy a pencil for each student, let alone have
something for them to write on or someone to teach them.

Don't get me wrong, I think the laptop is a great idea (and I hope it
works), but if there's money to be spent on education, perhaps some can be
spent right now on raising the standards of more basic education needs
throughout the continent.
