Giving a man a fish is certainly a good way to feed him for a day, but
giving him the means to Google "fishing" lets him learn to feed himself
for a lifetime. Computers are useful to let the next generation learn
how to advance without having to remake the centuries of trial and error
that seperate them from the developed world. This is necessary if they
are to progress without losing their entire population and starting over
at the stone age first.
