I think so, but I don't think it matters. The GPL doesn't say "accompany
the media". It says "accompany *it*" and from a previous sentence, "it"
refers to the "Program" (which, under the GPL, need not actually be a
program... the GPL includes a definition of "Program" which really means
"the work").
