GPL compliance

Hello,

I have a question about GPL compliance and I was told that this list
might be a good place to ask.

Short summary: Where on the Ubuntu CD can I find the written offer for
the sources?

Long explanation:
-----------------
The GPL section 3 gives two ways Ubuntu could distribute sources:
a) Package them with the CD.
b) Attach a written offer to provide the sources for the cost of
distribution.

Since Ubuntu doesn't do (a), it must do (b). I'm trying to find the
offer. This question is relevant to people giving out Ubuntu CDs because
of the GPL section 3(c):

c) You can also be GPL compliant by including the written offer that you
received.

In other words, if Ubuntu includes a written offer (as it should) then
other people don't have to worry about providing sources (unless they
change them).

Thanks for the help.

Cheers,
Daniel.
