Only that your suggestion the only thing I can do about the problem is
agree with you and go with the flow.
I _can_ immediately influence (and do try to) the outsourcing of IT in
my own little social/work circle.
I can't really influence where my shoes are made other than making my own.
I also try to influence what food products I buy that are imported, to
the immediate impact of my wallet. But i do it because i feel I might
make a difference.
