As someone from southeast asia, there is a truth to the article for
the SMB/Enterprise market with RedHat because it has partnered with
Oracle in providing a low cost business suite that is very much the
same software used in North America but 1/4 the price. It's pretty
much a monopoly at the
moment.

Not to mention huge business userbase for Turbo and Red Flag for east asia.

For most educational institutions and other uses, there is still a
huge market for Fedora and Mandriva, although we see a rising interest
in Ubuntu and the "asian connection" with development of dapper was
very significant.
