Mako will no doubt answer himself, but since you asked on a public list,
for my part it seems relatively clear - it's an advert for ACM
publications, and a quick google search as well as a glance at Mako's
website demonstrates that this is an organisation that he is involved in.
Where does the confusion come in? Note that there is no reason
whatsoever for adverts on slashdot to be related to the specific stories.
