I feel very qualified to answer this as I wouldn't know how to use a C
compiler if my life depended on it.
With the installation files already on the CD, that makes it a
no-brainer I should think.. Yet another unseen command line proggy
buried deep in the messy bowels of /usr/bin or usr/share/lib is not
going to upset any new user, yet Linux power users will find one less
stick in the Ubuntu garden to club us to death with.
It takes up virtually no diskspace worth mentioning and it might
actually be useful to someone.
