Drivers for wireless network cards based on Ralink 2570 (USB-chipset,
the driver is called rt2570) in Breezy. I've talked several new users
through the steps required to be able to use their USB dongle with their
new Ubuntu installation.
Apparently, the drivers weren't available in any good shape when Breezy
was released, and thus Breezy doesn't include any. But now they are very
good: I know one guy to whom a "broken" USB dongle was given - when
testing on three different windows boxes with the vendors drivers, it
didn't work (and the tester owns a computer store, so he should be able
to install drivers), but on linux, after compiling the drivers, it works
great.
I feel quite certain that during the six months which edgy will be the
latest and greatest, support for devices that didn't exist before the
release will be developed, just like in this case.
