It's simply a matter of trimming it down to eliminate the overwhelming icons
(of course, I _want_ the control freak menus - I'm an OS control freak). 
Yes, KDE imports some of the bad aspects of the Windows GUI - but they're
almost all configurable, unlike in Windows.
