This wasn't, as you seem to suggest, a carefully considered decision. I
find it hard to believe that you could possibly suggest that we did this
on purpose, so I'll assume you are just exaggerating for the sake of it.

The reality is that the documentation is maintained by volunteers who
have limited time, and not enough to include this. Feel free to help.
