find a time machine, and start using gmail 18 month or so ago for
receiving the list emails.   Or download the raw mbox of all the past
emails ( https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/sounder/) and import them
in your favourite email application (thunderbird, evolution, mutt,
etc)
