ahh yes I do love IBM gear..
_but_
in all reality.. very different worlds..
a couple of hundred bucks compared to the many thousands for the
lovely Z series...

As for the volatile memory problem.. I'd just write a nice little
script to "ghost" the image to a spare drive in the even of a power
outage.. after all.. It's only around 4 gig of "OS" I wouldn't want to
store much more than that on it...

hmm although a RAID array of these devices _would_ be quite a bit of
fun to play with ;-)
