MS uses just about everything beyond a blip and Ubuntu has been, for a
while now, far beyond a blip.

I had the pleasure(?) of taking a tour of their GNU/Linux and
interoperability lab semi-recently. They run lots of just about
everything for both gaging competitiveness of their own products and
for trying to improve interoperability in areas that they think that
is strategically important.
