This is going to be easier if I believe it my own brain; I think a good
first step would be change the 'sources.list' configurations so that on the
Preview (Beta) and release CDs they go out _only_ referring to the version
number, eg:

  deb http://gb.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu 6.04 main restricted

This is not disimilar to Debian symlinking 'stable' and 'sarge'. I like the
idea that the number is assigned at the point of release, it accomodates the
possibility that dapper gets delayed becomes _6.05_.

Currently the references are everywhere (eg. the opening page for Firefox)
and '/etc/lsb_release'. Is this something that is doable for 6.04? Is it
something that people want?
