On the subject of naming the Dapper successor

Well, not to worry, "Dapper" is only the code name, which only you and
testers know about. As far as the user and companies are concerned, the
only name they will see on the CD covers, official documentation, press
releases, is Ubuntu 6.04, 6.10, 7.04, 7.10 and so on.
Granted, you could complain about "Ubuntu" not sounding serious. But
frankly, do "Windows" and "Apples" sound any more serious ? Not
really ! ;-)

Also, the next Windows is codenamed "longhorn", then "Vista", hardly
serious either, but do you really think that this will keep companies
from buying it, and PC vnedors from installing for end users ?! If
only !! ;-)
