Guadalinex is the distribution promoted by the government of Andalusia
(Spain) and currently installed in +200.000 computers. Guadalinex V3
has been released and is based on Ubuntu Breezy.

The main contributions / own features are:

- Live installer (UbuntuExpress).
- ADSL modem wizard developed by Telefonica.
- Hardware detection improved with their own device database (Hermes).
- Lots of Spanish translated strings contributed to Rosetta.
- Also an own selection of preinstalled tools (i.e. Tomboy).

Today Guadalinex V3 is NOT installed in those +200.000 computers. Most
of them belong to the Department of Education and are located in public
schools. The current version of Guadalinex they are using is based on
Debian Sarge. Now this department will start the process of
derivation/adaption to Guadalinex V3 to their own needs.

If your question is 'are they going to pick something from Edubuntu' my
answer is 'I don't know'. :)
