It's just expanded out of context. A lot of the Google developers use a
modified version of Ubuntu on their desktops, which they jokingly call
"Goobuntu". I've seen no indication that Google wants to distribute that
more widely. However, there are perennial "Google PC" rumours and this
news snippet was used to fuel the fires of those rumours.
