"Faith: not *wanting* to know what is true." Friedrich Nietzsche

Perhaps, instead of just grabbing a du jour quote, you would be much
better off actually reading a book or two by this man. Then, you would
hopefully realise that the quote is as meaningful as the barking of my
dog, i.e. if there's no truth to be known by men (according to FN), then
how much truth is there in the quote or in anything this self proclaimed
genius ever said?

This is perhaps much more enlightening than the nonsense you quoted:
"All the things men have valued with such earnestness heretofore are not
even realities; they are mere fantasies, or, more strictly speaking,
lies arising from the evil instincts of diseased and, in the deepest
sense, harmful natures-all the concepts, "God," "soul," "virtue, "sin,"
"Beyond," "truth," "eternal life."

Sadly, on his own terms, his own statement is a lie and consequently
shouldn't be paid any attention to.

Nikolai
