Ubuntu Customization Guide resembles Automatix, Easy Ubuntu and Ubuntu
Guide but it has another focus.

I want people to be able to do a quick start guide while learning at the
same time. I don't want to start documenting a lot of stuff. I'll just
try to link to good information.

"forum people" tend to search the forums for information. I try to bring
some of the information that is relevant at getting started to a single
place.

The UDSF has a broader goal. They are trying to be a big knowledge base
for the forums. I just want to help people get started in this way.

Previously UDSF linked to "my recommended Dapper sources.list" already.
Now UDSF links to Ubuntu Customization Guide. "my recommended Dapper
sources.list" has become a part of Ubuntu Customization Guide. See :
http://doc.gwos.org/index.php/DapperStarterGuide

Thank you for the question. I appreciate feedback very much.

regards,
