Sasha, sorry to upbraid you, but this is a flagrant breech of netiquette.

You should never include off-list personal communications in your public
posts, unless the person concerned agrees to it. You invoke the virtue of
respect, but this post appears to be disrespectful.

If such agreement was granted, you should say so. As this stands, it looks
like you sent part of a private email to a public list without the
writer's permission.

Yes, I do think that's rude. An apology to Anders is in order, I feel.
