Yes, it appears my link made it to slashdot - but the slashot hordes 
haven't shown up according to my logs :-)

Instead, the server was hit harder by the readers from OSNews, who also 
brought the story - http://osnews.com/comment.php?news_id=14376

I wonder what this means. That the slashdot effect is no more or that 
the slashdot readers aren't interested in Ubuntu news? (or just didn't 
understand the subject, by judging from the few comments I've read).
