I'm guessing Hoary/Breezy will get Firefox 1.5 at one point once the
1.0.x version is not maintained anymore.

There is a precedent:  Warty initially used Firefox 0.9.3, but
switched to the 1.0.7 once backporting security patched proved to be
too much work in the older code.
