Graphical Front End To Crontab Missing?

I use crontab to run jobs such as playing music to wake me up in the 
morning and it occurs to me that less experienced Windows users 
switching to Ubuntu might think that Ubuntu lacks the equivalent of a 
"task scheduler" because there is no GUI tool to set up cron jobs. I 
think a tool of this sort would be handy since crontab syntax takes a 
bit of getting used to and is currently command-line based.

Am I being blind and a crontab GUI tool of this kind exists or is this a 
niche in Ubuntu's package repertoire? If so, should it be installed by 
default in Ubuntu? Does it not exist and need somebody to start it as a 
project? Should I be posting to ubuntu-devel? :)
