I've written some guidelines which are intended to be applicable to all
Ubuntu mailing lists. I know that some of the points may be slightly
controversial, especially since our SABDFL sends html mail and
replies-to-all nowadays (:p), but I hope that they can provide a useful
basis for guidelines.
I'm cc:ing Mako, as he expressed an interest in sending a document like
this out with mailing list subscriptions.

Feedback welcome (but no dragging up old and worn out subjects, such as
reply-to munging)!
thanks, Matt
