Just FYI, be careful with terminology talking about a "winmodem driver"
on Linux - all the ALSA part does is expose the device as a soundcard.
The actual softmodem is implemented in a userspace daemon like slmodemd,
which may be open or closed source.

IOW, having an ALSA driver for a given modem is not enough to use it.
