This is just plain wrong, there's even an RFC on it. RFCs define
standards that the internet works on.
Reply-To: munging definitely is harmful and no mail list software
should ever change/remove/delete/forge headers
let's not go down the road of claiming that we have to change lists to
suit model xyz mailer, we already have Outlook to contend with, let's
not make it worse.
If Thunderbird is broken, then get the Thunderbird developers to fix
it, or get Ubuntu devs to patch it
