The forums' community café section for community discussions faced the same
problems. The "Backyard" section was created to host discussions which are
pretty much unrelated to ubuntu. By default, the Backyard section is not
included in any forum searches by default and is not readable unless you are
logged in, but it is not by any means a private section. It's just not the
most visible forum section.

It seems to work and the less politically-correct discussions that happen
there do not taint the reputation of the rest of the forums.

I'm not really suggesting to create another mailing list - I'm just pimping
the forums... The ubuntu comunity does need a place to be able to discuss
non-ubuntu related topics.
