In the 2004 Desktop Linux Market survey from desktoplinux.com, Ubuntu
didn't even make it in the top 12 distro according to the survey
question: "What Desktop Linux Distribution(s) do you primarily use on
your home or office desktop system?"

But it seems Ubuntu is in the mind of the authors for 2005 according to
their final words:

"All in all, it's been an interesting year, and the coming year promises
to be at least as exciting. Will Opera 8 overtake Mozilla.org? How will
new distribution offerings like Ubuntu and the re-branded Mandriva and
Linspire fare? DesktopLinux.com wants to know, so be sure to keep an eye
out for the 2005 Desktop Linux Market Survey, coming soon!"
