Ubuntu an Alternative to Linspire?

Sincerely, I don't know much about Linspire to give you a comparison,
so I won't comment on things like zero conf, nor "perfect" hardware
detection. Now, about being able to access you windows partition (ntfs
read-only I think) and be able to use windows fonts, that's a given on
virtually every dektop linux distro out there.
