Awesome: James Squire Porter, James Squire Golden Ale, Mountain Goat
Hightail Ale, Coopers Pale Ale, Coopers Sparkling Ale, anything
by Jamieson (particularly their Pale Ale), Beez Neez, Emerson's
	 Oatmeal Stout[0].
Very good: Mountain Goat Pale Ale, James Squire Amber Ale, Boag's
           Original Bitter[1].
Decent: The rest of the James Squire stuff.
Avoid: Victoria Bitter, XXXX, Fosters, Crown Lager, Carlton Cold,
Carlton Draught, Redback, Swan Lager, West End.

Unfortunately, as with anywhere, most of the best stuff is all
microbrewed.

Cheers,
Daniel

[0]: Actually, this is a Kiwi beer, but it's a fantastic chocolate stout
with strong oatmeal and coffee flavourings. One of the best beers
     I've ever had.
[1]: Not to be confused with their lagers, or Boags Strongarm Bitter,
which are both far more common. Comes in a very distinctive yellow
(well, sort of off-yellow) 500mL can, with blue writing on it.
Has 'The Tube' written on it in a few places.
