Why no mention of GNU?

I really think the "GNU" prefix should be reserved to official FSF
project, such as gcc or GNU Emacs.  AFAIK, neither the Linux kernel nor
the Ubuntu distribution are official GNU project, so I do not see the
point in changing the patronym of already existing project.  If the only
basis for adding the GNU prefix to a project name is the use of the GPL
license, we might end up with GNU/Firefox, GNU/KDE, etc.  That's just
insane.
