Another Ubuntu Hoary Hedgehog review and some notes on MPT's blog entry

Yep, I saw your post there and was going to post more or less the same
sort of things so I ended up not doing it because your writing was to
the point and I agree with everything you say there. I mean, Ubuntu
_is_ a wonderful distro but it still needs some serious love all over
as Thomas' blog points out clearly. I hope the community continues to
grow and Breezy can start approaching new levels of usability.

Now, on that thread it is mentioned that MEPIS has this install from
live cd feature. I never tried that distro (in fact didn't even knew
it before :) and don't have time to try it. Now does anyone here know
how they do it and why it can't be done on ubuntu? I can think of
several reasons, but if they do it...
