"Executing 'grub-install /dev/hdg1' failed. This is a fatal error.".
I looked on console 3 and it said:
"Error 6: Mismatched or corrupt version of stage1/stage2".
Prior to that, everything looked normal. The grub shell had started and
IIRC it told me that it had installed the reiser stage and other bits
and pieces that grub normally does.

When the system boots. I am not able to get to anything; I see it
attempting to load stage 1.5, then I get the error. No menu or options
are presented.
