Doing that now, but I've had a number successful desktop and custom installs
from this CD already.

The last thing was "Reading all physical volumes.  This may take a while..."
after a couple of floppy.ko loading errors. I'll re-run again, and watch the
log when the initial CD-ROM failure happens - I guess that's the root of the
problem.
