I doesn't agree to add vlc (the gnome-frontend is awful), but I must
admit that Totem-gstreamer doesn't work at all at the moment. There's
simply no video I can play with totem-gstreamer on the web.

So it's maybe a good choice to choose totem-xine for the moment.
