I reported this about an hour ago as #957.

On my sid I created a new init script which writes my preferred
emulation keys to /proc/sys/dev/mac_hid/mouse_button[23]_keycode and
enables the emulation by writing 1 to
/proc/sys/dev/mac_hid/mouse_button_emulation.

Technically, this is not hard to achieve, but the question is whether
we find a sane default for the mapping?

I mapped F11 to the right button (since I don't use it very often) and
the Keypad-Enter (right of the right Apple key) to the middle button
(since I use it often with gpm and X cut&paste). The latter seems
quite sane to me, but on my iBook G4 there is just no other spare key
left for assigning the right button to.

Any ideas? How does this look on a PowerBook, i. e. are there extra
keys which could be used?

Martin
