The company is based on the Isle of Man, but we have employees all
around the world. Our fearless leader, Mark Shuttleworth, is South
African.

When Mark originally suggested 'Ubuntu' and explained it, everyone (at a
very early company meeting) loved it. It's a beautiful word, and for
many of us, expresses our feelings about the technology and community
behind Free Software.
