Ubuntu Everywhere

Jesús Climent and I were on the train from Barcelona to Valencia where
I'll be spending the week with Jordi Mallach.

In the seat in front of us were two people who took out a
computer. Jesús and I each recognized a Debian bootloader (although
the person chose to go into Windows :)). When we asked later in the
trip about if they were using Debian, they said no, Ubuntu! Both of
them are learning GNU/Linux now with no experience and they heard
Ubuntu was a good place to start!

We had a good talk about Ubuntu and Free Software philosophy, we
pointed them to the ubuntu-es lists for some problems with NTFS they
had been having and I gave them a couple of CDs from my special
stock.

Awesome!

Regards,
Mako
