Some points/issues to discuss about the desktop

One thing you're missing (I think) is a "Documents"/"Home" icon on the
desktop.  I created a new user today and this didn't appear, which means
there's no obvious way for someone to get at their files.

We either need to restore the "Home" icon, or put a "Documents" icon
there.
