Mouse acceleration

Hi,

Now that X is using /dev/input/mouse the acceleration on the cursor
seems to be a lot faster. So fast in fact that the GNOME mouse
preference doesn't appear to do anything.

I fixed this by adding "options psmouse resolution=100"
to /etc/modprobe.d/local.  Am I the only person seeing this, or should
this be a default option?
